The 3.5mm Cannulated Cortical Screw is an orthopedic fixation screw for small-fragment fractures, available in titanium and stainless steel in lengths from 10–50mm. Its cannulated shaft accepts a 1.2mm guide wire, and its hemispherical head supports contact with compatible washers and plates when the screw is angled.
The cannulated shaft allows insertion over a 1.2mm guide wire. This guides the screw along the selected trajectory during small-fragment fixation.
The hemispherical head maintains annular contact with washers and plates when the screw sits at an angle. Its low profile helps reduce the possibility of soft tissue irritation around the screw head.
The cortical thread profile is designed to provide pullout resistance and insertion efficiency similar to a standard 3.5mm cortex screw. Short-thread and fully threaded configurations provide different fixation options. Fully threaded screws are intended for fractures requiring little or no compression across the fracture site.
Listed applications include wrist, metacarpal, metatarsal and tarsal fractures. The screw is also indicated for fixation in metacarpal and metatarsal osteotomies and transcondylar humeral fractures in children.

The cannulated shaft accepts a 1.2mm guide wire.
The catalogue lists 10–50mm screw lengths in 2mm increments, in titanium and stainless steel. Configurations include short thread, full thread, short thread self-tapping, and full thread self-tapping.
Fully threaded screws are intended to stabilize fractures where little or no compression across the fracture site is required.
