Indications for use
3.5mm Locking Medial Proximal Tibial Plates are intended to buttress metaphyseal fractures of the medial tibial plateau, split-type fractures of the medial tibial plateau, medial split fractures with associated depressions and split or depression fractures of the medial tibial plateau. The plates may also be used for fixation of the proximal quarter (lateral and medial) of the tibia, as well as segmental fractures of the proximal tibia.shaft fractures. The plates can also be used for the treatments of nonunions, malunions, and osteopenic bone.3.5mm Locking Medial Proximal Tibial Plate

The 3.5mm Locking Medial Proximal Tibia Plate is an orthopedic fixation plate designed for fractures involving the medial proximal tibia and tibial plateau. It is available in right and left configurations and can be supplied in titanium or stainless steel.
The plate is intended for several proximal tibial fracture patterns, including medial tibial plateau fractures, split type fractures, split fractures with associated depression, and split or depression fractures. It may also be used for certain proximal tibial shaft and segmental fractures.
The plate features locking compression holes and round locking holes designed to accept 3.5mm cortical and locking screws. Proper screw selection and fixation should be determined by the orthopedic surgeon according to the patient's fracture pattern and surgical requirements.
The plate is available in 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, and 20 hole configurations. Right and left versions are available in both titanium and stainless steel, providing options based on the surgical application and implant requirements.
According to the manufacturer's stated indications, the 3.5mm Locking Medial Proximal Tibia Plate can also be used for the treatment of nonunions, malunions, and osteopenic bone. Clinical suitability should be assessed by a qualified orthopedic professional for each individual case.
