The 4.5mm Spoon Plate is designed for orthopedic fracture fixation, particularly pilon fractures with extensive anterior crushing. It can also be used for metaphyseal non unions of the distal tibia and distal humerus.
The 4.5mm Spoon Plate is available in both stainless steel and titanium options, allowing healthcare professionals to select the appropriate material based on the surgical requirements.
The plate holes are designed to accept 4.5mm cortical screws. The shaft uses a V profile to support fixation along the frontal edge of the tibia.
Yes. The plate is designed to be bent preoperatively so it can accurately match the anatomy of the bone segment being fixed. An oval hole can assist with temporary fixation before final adjustment.
The 4.5mm Spoon Plate is available in 5 hole and 6 hole configurations. Stainless steel and titanium versions are available for both configurations.
