Indications for use

4.5mm Proximal Femur Plate is indicated to treat fractures of the femur including-

  • Fractures of the trochanteric region, trochanteric simple, trochanterodiaphyseal , multifragmentary pertrochanteric, interotrochanteric reversed or transverse or with additional fracture of the medial cortex
  • Metastatic fracture of the proximal femur
  • Fracture of the proximal end of the femur combined with ipsilateral shaft fractures
  • Osteotomies of the proximal femur
  • Fixation of osteopenic bone and fixation of nonunions or malunions
