The 3.5mm Locking Wrist Fusion Plate is an orthopedic implant designed for wrist arthrodesis and fixation of fractures involving the small bones of the carpus. It features locking compression holes and round locking holes compatible with 3.5mm cortical and locking screws.
The plate is available in both titanium and stainless steel, allowing healthcare professionals to select the appropriate material according to the surgical requirements and implant system.
The system is indicated for wrist arthrodesis and certain carpal fractures. Listed indications include posttraumatic wrist arthrosis, rheumatoid wrist deformities, complex carpal instability, postseptic wrist arthritis, severe motion related wrist pain, brachial plexus nerve palsies, tumor resection, and spastic deformities.
The 3.5mm Locking Wrist Fusion Plate is offered in three configurations: Standard Bend with 8 holes, Short Bend with 8 holes, and Straight Bend with 9 holes. The appropriate configuration should be selected according to the patient's anatomy and surgical requirements.
